Welcome to wa4u, your space for clarity, growth, and self-guided support.
wa4u is a digital wellness platform created and operated by Beltran Investor AB, a Sweden-based company (Org.nr 556921-9412) ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Beltran Investor AB.
These Terms apply to your use of all services provided under the wa4u brand, including:
- Our mobile apps and website
- AI-based coaching experiences
- Features, content, and tools designed for emotional support and personal development
By using wa4u, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Please note: wa4u is a non-clinical service. It does not offer therapy, medical advice, or emergency support. If you need urgent help, contact emergency services or a licensed provider.
These Terms work in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data. We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. For major changes, we will notify you in-app or via email.
2. Who Can Use wa4u
To ensure safe and lawful use of the wa4u platform, you must meet the following eligibility conditions:
a) Age requirement
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use wa4u independently. If you are under 16, you may only use wa4u with verifiable parental or legal guardian consent. A secure consent feature for underage users is in development, and access will be restricted until it is in place.
We reserve the right to request age verification where appropriate.
b) Legal capacity
By using wa4u, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your country of residence. If you are using wa4u on behalf of another person, for example as a parent, teacher, coach, or organizational representative, you confirm that you are legally authorized to act on that person's behalf and bind them to these Terms.
c) Geographic limitations
wa4u is designed primarily for users in Sweden and the European Economic Area (EEA). Users outside these regions may access the platform, but availability of features may vary and additional terms may apply in the future to meet local legal requirements.
d) Truthful registration
When creating an account or interacting with wa4u, you must provide truthful, accurate, and up-to-date information. You may not use a false identity, impersonate someone else, or create an account on behalf of someone who has not consented.
e) Right to restrict access
Beltran Investor AB (Org.nr 556921-9412) reserves the right to refuse access or registration to users who do not meet these eligibility criteria, suspend or terminate accounts that are found to be in violation of this section, and introduce region-specific restrictions to comply with local regulations.
3. Your Account & Responsibility
To use wa4u fully, you may need to create an account. This section explains what you are responsible for and what we expect from you as an account holder.
a) Account creation and login methods
You can register for wa4u using a valid email and password or a third-party login provider (such as Google or Apple), where available. You are responsible for ensuring that your login method is secure and belongs to you. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
b) Account security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. This includes choosing a strong password (if applicable), not sharing your credentials with anyone else, logging out when using shared or public devices, and monitoring for and reporting unauthorized access. If you suspect that your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately at support@wa4u.ai. We will work with you to secure your account.
c) Use of guest access or temporary sessions
If wa4u allows you to use parts of the platform without logging in (as a guest), you understand that your session will be temporary, your data and preferences may not be saved, and you are still bound by these Terms and responsible for your actions while using wa4u.
d) Shared responsibility
You may not register on behalf of someone else without legal authority, use wa4u while impersonating another person, or allow others to use your account. Beltran Investor AB (Org.nr 556921-9412) is not responsible for any loss or harm that results from your failure to protect your account information.
e) Enforcement
We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms, appear to be fraudulent or unsafe, or show prolonged inactivity (for example, no login for 12 or more months).
4. Acceptable Use & User Conduct
wa4u is a non-clinical platform built to support reflection, self-awareness, emotional well-being, and personal development. To keep the space safe, inclusive, and helpful for everyone, you agree to use the Services in a respectful and lawful manner.
When using wa4u, you must not:
a) Share or submit harmful content:
- Content that promotes or glorifies self-harm, eating disorders, or suicide
- Discriminatory, harassing, or hate-based content targeting race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, or identity
- Threats, bullying, or abusive messages, whether directed at users, AI coaches, or third parties
- Sexually explicit, pornographic, or violently graphic content
b) Misuse AI functionality:
- Attempt to manipulate, trick, or exploit AI coaches into producing harmful, misleading, or unethical content
- Use AI voice features (if offered) to impersonate others, especially without their consent
- Create or distribute deepfakes using AI features, especially those intended to deceive or harm others
c) Engage in unauthorized or illegal activity:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Promote illegal activity, including buying or selling drugs, fraud, or violence
- Use wa4u to give or solicit medical, legal, or financial advice, since our platform does not support these services
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the platform or its infrastructure
d) Violate privacy and consent:
- Harvest or collect personal data from other users
- Post or upload private information about someone else without their explicit consent
- Share chat logs or avatar responses publicly in a misleading, decontextualized, or harmful way
e) Attempt to manipulate or interfere with the system:
- Access or probe parts of the system not intentionally made available to users
- Use bots, scripts, or any automated means to interact with wa4u
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our systems
- Circumvent access limits, usage restrictions, or safety tools built into the platform
wa4u uses automated safety tools to help detect serious violations of these rules (for example, harmful content or security risks). Human review is only triggered in specific cases, such as user-reported abuse or high-risk situations related to personal safety (see Section 5d).
We reserve the right to remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts if we determine that these rules have been violated.
5. User Content & Data Use
When you interact with wa4u, whether by writing messages, answering prompts, or reflecting in a journal, you generate content. This section explains how we treat that content, what you own, and what rights you give us to operate and improve the platform.
a) You own your input
You retain full ownership of anything you write or create through the wa4u platform ("User Content"). This includes journal entries, chat messages, text responses, or any other input you actively provide. We will never sell your content. You can delete it at any time (see Section 9: Account Termination & Deletion). You may also request a copy of your data for download by contacting our support team.
b) You give us permission to process your content
To deliver the wa4u experience, you grant Beltran Investor AB (Org.nr 556921-9412) a non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free license to store your content securely, process it to personalize your experience, and use anonymized and aggregated versions to improve the platform. This license is limited to operating and improving the wa4u service. It does not give us the right to publish or promote your content in a public context without your explicit consent.
c) AI-generated responses
The AI-generated messages you receive in response to your input are created by large language models operated under license. You may reuse or refer to these responses for personal purposes, but you do not acquire any intellectual property rights over the underlying models or coaching personas. If you share AI-generated content outside wa4u, such as on social media or in screenshots, you must not present it in a misleading, harmful, or decontextualized way.
d) Human review (only when needed)
Your private content is not monitored or reviewed by humans unless you explicitly request human support (for example via escalation features) or our system detects a potential safety concern (for example self-harm keywords). In those rare cases a certified coach may review the chat for your safety and offer appropriate support. We do not use your content for advertising or third-party marketing.
6. wa4u Content & Intellectual Property
All content, designs, features, and coaching personas available within the wa4u platform are the intellectual property of Beltran Investor AB (Org.nr 556921-9412) or its licensors. This includes:
- AI coaching personas, their names, voices, styles, and backstories
- Conversation flows, guidance prompts, and mental health toolkits
- Visual designs, illustrations, and user interface elements
- Branding, logos, slogans, and microcopy
a) What you may do
We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use wa4u solely for your own private, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may use wa4u's tools and content to reflect, grow, and manage your wellbeing, save or refer to coaching content for your personal development, and share limited snippets (for example quotes from AI responses) on social media as long as the context is respectful, honest, and not misleading.
b) What you may not do
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or publicly display any part of wa4u without written permission, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract training data, methods, or internal architecture from the coaching personas or AI features, resell or license wa4u content or features to others, or use wa4u assets (including coach avatars or quotes) in ways that promote yourself, your business, or your brand without a licensing agreement.
c) Special rules for partners and licensed coaches
If you are a Founding Coach or Signature Avatar partner, separate IP agreements apply to your AI persona, including ownership, licensing, and usage rights. These Terms apply to all users unless otherwise stated in a signed agreement.
7. Third-Party Content & Links
While using wa4u, you may encounter content or services that originate outside of our platform, including external links shared by wa4u, embedded content from third-party tools, or services integrated via open APIs or SDKs.
a) No responsibility for external content
wa4u may include links to third-party websites or display content created by others. We provide these only for informational or convenience purposes. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, security, or practices of these third-party services. If you choose to access external websites or tools, you do so at your own risk and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
b) External services used within wa4u
To operate smoothly, wa4u relies on trusted third-party providers for login, hosting, payment, or analytics. These partners are carefully selected and bound by contracts to process data securely and in compliance with GDPR. For more detail, please refer to our Privacy Policy, which lists our key subprocessors and how your data is handled.
c) User-shared third-party links
If you share links or external resources during your interaction with wa4u, you are solely responsible for ensuring they are safe, appropriate, and legal. We reserve the right to remove or block any third-party content we believe is harmful, misleading, or in violation of these Terms.
8. Platform Availability & Changes
wa4u is designed to be a reliable and accessible tool for personal support. However, like any digital platform, it may occasionally experience downtime, updates, or technical issues.
a) No guaranteed uptime
We aim to keep the wa4u service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may become temporarily unavailable due to maintenance and updates, technical failures, outages, third-party service disruptions, security incidents, or legal and regulatory requirements. We will make reasonable efforts to inform users in advance of planned maintenance that may significantly affect availability.
b) We may modify or remove features
Beltran Investor AB (Org.nr 556921-9412) reserves the right to add, remove, or modify features and content within the wa4u platform at any time. This includes changes to coaching flows, AI capabilities, user tools, available personas, visual design, interface, navigation, and free versus paid feature access. Changes may be made to improve user experience, safety, functionality, or compliance with evolving legal or ethical standards.
c) Beta features and experimental modules
From time to time, wa4u may release beta features that are still in testing. These may be unstable or subject to change, only available to selected users, or temporarily removed at short notice. By using beta features, you understand that they may not perform as expected and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
d) No guaranteed outcomes
wa4u is a support tool, not a therapeutic or diagnostic service. We do not guarantee that use of the platform will result in any specific emotional, behavioral, academic, or relational outcome. Your experience will depend on how you engage with the content and reflect on your process.
9. Account Termination & Deletion
You have full control over your account, and we respect your right to leave the platform at any time. This section explains how you can delete your account and the conditions under which we may suspend or remove access.
a) Your right to delete your account
You may delete your wa4u account at any time from within the app or by contacting our support team. When you do so, your account will be deactivated immediately, and all personal data and user-generated content associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our primary systems within 30 days unless we are legally required to retain it. Any non-personal, anonymized data (for example statistical usage metrics) may be retained for system integrity and analysis without identifying you. If you are a Founding Coach, Signature Avatar partner, or contributor, please refer to your separate agreement for any additional data retention or licensing terms.
b) Temporary deactivation vs. permanent deletion
Temporary deactivation hides your account and pauses notifications. You can return at any time with your data intact. Permanent deletion is irreversible and removes all content tied to your profile.
c) Our right to suspend or terminate access
Beltran Investor AB (Org.nr 556921-9412) reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform or submit harmful content (see Section 4), your account remains inactive for an extended period (typically 12 months or more), or we are required to comply with legal obligations, court orders, or regulatory requirements.
d) Appeals and support
If your account has been suspended or terminated and you believe this was done in error, you may contact our support team to request a review. We aim to respond to such appeals within 10 working days.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
wa4u is a digital coaching platform designed to support personal growth, reflection, and emotional well-being. We are committed to providing a safe and useful experience, but there are limits to what we can guarantee.
a) Informational support only, not therapy
wa4u does not provide mental health treatment, crisis care, or clinical advice. The AI coaches are non-clinical support tools trained to offer structured prompts, guidance, and reflective conversation based on widely accepted psychological frameworks. Nothing in wa4u should be interpreted as a substitute for professional medical or psychological care, a diagnosis, treatment, or a therapeutic relationship, or legal, financial, or emergency advice. If you are in crisis, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or require medical attention, please contact emergency services or a licensed provider in your area.
b) No guarantees of outcome
Your personal results from using wa4u will depend on many factors, including your level of engagement, external life circumstances, and how you apply the insights you gain. We do not guarantee any specific results related to your mental health, academic performance, relationships, or personal development.
c) Platform use is at your own risk
While we strive to provide a high-quality and secure service, wa4u is offered "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including that the service will be available at all times, that it will be free of bugs, interruptions, or security issues, or that it will meet your specific needs or expectations.
d) Limits on our legal liability
To the extent permitted by Swedish and EU law, Beltran Investor AB (Org.nr 556921-9412) is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data, emotional distress, or loss of opportunity, harm resulting from unauthorized access to your account or data, or reliance on information or advice provided by wa4u's AI coaches. If we are found liable for any damages under these Terms, our total liability will not exceed the amount you have paid us (if any) in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. wa4u is built to support vulnerable moments, which means trust, transparency, and strong data protection are foundational to how we operate.
a) We follow the GDPR
As a Sweden-based service, wa4u is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable EU and Swedish data protection laws. We only collect the personal data we need to operate and improve the platform, we do not sell or rent your data to third parties, you have rights to access, correct, download, or delete your personal information, and we take technical and organizational measures to keep your data secure. b) Anonymous use and local storage
Some wa4u features may be accessible without registration (for example guest mode or quick-start tools). In these cases, your data may be stored only on your device and not synced to our servers. If you clear your browser cache, delete the app, or reset your device, this local data will be lost. We cannot restore or retrieve content from guest sessions if it is not linked to a registered account.
c) Location of data
Your personal data is stored on secure servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA). If we ever work with providers outside the EEA, we will ensure adequate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
d) Children's privacy
wa4u is intended for users aged 16 and above. Users under 16 may only access the platform with verifiable parental consent (feature in development). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without a legal basis or valid consent.
e) Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access and review the data we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, delete your data or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent (where applicable), request a copy of your data in a portable format, and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. You can exercise these rights by contacting our support team or using the tools available in your account settings.
12. Legal Framework & Contact
a) Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute, claim, or legal issue arising under or in connection with these Terms will be handled by the Swedish courts, unless you are entitled to bring a claim in another jurisdiction under mandatory consumer protection laws. If you are a consumer in Sweden, you also have the right to file a complaint with the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allm�nna reklamationsn�mnden, ARN). b) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, technology, product features, or business priorities. If we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the document, provide in-app or email notification of any significant changes, and give at least 14 days' notice before new terms take effect (unless required sooner by law). By continuing to use wa4u after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may delete your account at any time.
